Description
The Second Annual Grab a Fork, Lend a Hand International Tasting Fair will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church's Parish Life Center in Niceville. The event will feature food from around the world, including Italy, Mexico, Poland, Turkey, India, the Philippines, Sweden, Ireland and Korea, as well as Cajun and classic American favorites. There will be a wide variety of desserts as well.
The cost for each food sample is $1, with all proceeds benefitting Catholic Charities' Fort Walton Beach regional office, which serves all of Okaloosa and Walton counties. The agency's services include emergency financial assistance, disaster relief, an on-site and mobile food pantry, adoption and pregnancy services, holiday assistance and Christian mental health counseling.
