Description
Making the perfect cup of tea is more than an art – it’s a science. The Emerald Coast Science Center is proud to host The Spice & Tea Exchange of Destin as they delve into the chemistry of tea. The Camellia Sinesis plant is where all things tea begin. We’ll learn how various methods of processing this plant changes the flavor of teas while sampling various cups and enjoying food pairings. The Tea and Spice Exchange will even let us in on their secret: how to steep the perfect cup. It’s sure to be a brew-tea-ful experience, so don’t miss the Science of Tea! Ticket price includes tea samples and light appetizers.
